Hansel & Gretel

Oh, I remember this walk well! Dare I enter? I think perhaps if I had known just how big these German "woods" are, I might have thought twice...then again, curiousity usually gets the better of me ;)

I named this Hansel & Gretel as that is the first thought I had when I stepped into the woods that morning. It was quite early and still quite dark - with none of the warm undertones you see here...I don't want to frighten you away! After a couple of hours, the sunshine teased out the shadows and it was a lovely place to be. Not a witch in sight!
